Martek Global Services, Inc. (“Martek”) working a proposal with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing for Information Technology Operations and Maintenance Support.  We are currently looking for a Email Administrator with the required specialized training and experiences outlined below. 

Location: 14th and C Streets SW, Washington, DC 20228

Responsibilities & Duties

  • ​​​​Manage and administer the organization's email systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), or other email platforms.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users regarding email-related issues, including mailbox management, email client configurations, and spam filtering.

  • Implement and maintain email security measures, including anti-spam filters, antivirus solutions, and encryption protocols. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.

  • Monitor email system performance, diagnose and resolve performance issues, and optimize system configurations to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Implement email backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of email configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on email system performance and usage metrics.

  • Plan and execute email system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to users.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to integrate email systems with other IT infrastructure components, such as directory services and identity management systems.

Job Qualifications:

Experience Requirements
Must have at least four (4) years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange, Intune, and domain administration functions.

Required Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
