Looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in recruiting? Martek Global Services is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiting efforts from application through offer. This fully remote position is ideal for someone with recruiting, HR, or administrative experience who enjoys candidate communication, organization, and helping create a positive hiring experience.

Working closely with the Vice President of Employee Services, you will play an important role in keeping the recruiting process moving by reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, preparing offer documentation, and supporting sourcing efforts for future opportunities.

This position offers a flexible part-time schedule while providing meaningful work and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Salary Range: $20 - $25 per hour with potential bonus opportunities for placements

Work Schedules
While this position offers a flexible part-time schedule, candidates must be available to work a portion of their weekly hours during Martek’s core business hours (Monday – Friday). Work schedules will be established in collaboration with the Vice President of Employee Services based on business needs and the selected candidate’s availability. Administrative tasks may be completed during evenings or weekends.
  • Approximately 5-25 hours per week, depending on recruiting activity and business needs
  • Flexibility to adjust hours during periods of increased hiring activity
  • Candidate and internal communications should be acknowledged within one business day
What You’ll Do

Candidate Management
  • Review resumes and identify qualified candidates based on position requirements
  • Manage candidate workflow within JazzHR
  • Maintain candidate records and application status
  • Ensure candidates receive timely communication throughout the hiring process
Recruiting Support
  • Conduct basic initial phone screenings (as needed and available)
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Prepare offer letters and other recruiting documentation
  • Assist with candidate follow-up throughout the recruiting process
  • Partner with the Vice President of Employee Services to provide an exceptional candidate experience
Sourcing & Administrative Support
  • Assist with sourcing candidates for proposal efforts and hard-to-fill positions
  • Assist in maintaining recruiting reports and recruiting metrics
  • Support recruiting-related administrative projects as assigned
  • Help maintain organized recruiting records and applicant pipeline

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years minimum of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or administrative experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
Preferred
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably JazzHR or a similar platform
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or other recruiting resources
  • Experience supporting recruiting within a government contracting environment is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
